Chinnaswamy Stadium is owned by the government of Karnataka. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was brought into being during the year of 1969. There are two stands in this stadium namely Pavilion End and BEML End. The stadium is operated by Karnataka State Cricket Association. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangalore has been a proud host of a large number of matches in 1987 and 1996 Cricket World Cup.
